Walking the Upper East Side
The Upper East Side has two distinct walking environments depending on which direction you go from your building. Head west and you are at Central Park within a few blocks, with the 72nd, 79th, and 86th Street entrances along Fifth Avenue all giving dogs access to open lawns, the bridle path, and the East Drive loop. Head east and the blocks between Park and York Avenue are some of the quietest residential streets in Manhattan, with Carl Schurz Park sitting at the far end as one of the best dog parks in the city.
Our walkers know both sides. The Central Park entrances each have different crowd patterns by time of day. The 72nd Street entrance off Fifth is busy by mid-morning, while the 86th Street entrance tends to stay calmer longer into the day. For dogs that do better with less stimulation, the park's more secluded paths along the east side of the reservoir are a strong alternative to the main loop.
Carl Schurz Park at 84th Street and East End Avenue is the UES's neighborhood anchor for dog owners. The park runs along the East River with a dedicated off-leash area and the Esplanade giving dogs waterfront access. Early morning on the Esplanade is one of the better dog walking experiences in Manhattan. Our walkers build Carl Schurz into routes regularly for clients in Yorkville and the far east side.

Yes. Most of our Upper East Side clients are in high-rise elevator buildings, and our walkers handle key coordination, fob access, and doorman protocols as a standard part of onboarding. Building logistics are sorted before the first walk so there is nothing to figure out on the day.

Carl Schurz Park, the blocks along York and East End Avenue, and the quieter residential streets in the high 80s and low 90s are all part of our regular coverage area.
